TOWN OF ALBURGH GRIEVANCE HEARINGS
Title 32, Vermont Statutes Annotated, Section 4111(G) reads as follows: “A person who feels aggrieved by the action of the Lister’s and desires to be heard by them shall, on or before the day of the grievance meeting, file with them his objection in writing and may appear at such grievance meeting in person or by his agents or attorneys. Upon the hearing of such grievance the parties thereto may submit such documentary or sworn evidence as shall be pertinent thereto.”
Grievance hearings will be held at the Alburgh Town Office Building on the following dates and times.
Thursday . . . July 14, 2011 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 pm
Friday . . . . July 15, 2011 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 pm
Saturday . . . . . July 16, 2011 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 pm
There will be an information period during normal working hours on Friday, July 8, 2011 and the same on Saturday July 9, 2011. Any property owner or their representative(s) are welcome to come into the Lister’s office to obtain information on their value and informal discussions concerning the reappraisal.
ALL GRIEVANCE HEARINGS WILL BE HELD BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please make this appointment by calling the Alburgh Lister’s Office at (802) 796-4061 on or before July 14, 2011. If it is inconvenient for you to attend in person YOU MAY FILE A GRIEVANCE BY LETTER. ALL GRIEVANCES MUST BE RECEIVED IN WRITING BY THE LISTERS, AT THE LISTERS OFFICE DURING REGULAR OFFICE HOURS, NO LATER THAN 4:00 PM, July 19, 2011 IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.
